As we bid farewell to the last month before winter break, it’s time to look back on the whirlwind of activities that filled our school with energy and enthusiasm.
The month kicked off with a crucial period for our grade 7-8 students as they faced exams, demonstrating their hard work and dedication to their studies.
Towards the second week of December , We embarked on an educational journey by taking the school on a field trip to the Pioneer Village. This immersive experience transported our students back in time, providing a firsthand glimpse into the lives of early settlers. Surrounded by historical artifacts and rustic settings, they discovered the challenges and simplicity of pioneer life. From quaint log cabins to hands-on activities, the trip not only enriched their understanding of history but also fostered a deep appreciation for the resilience and resourcefulness of those who paved the way in our past. It was a day filled with exploration, discovery, and lots of fun.
Amidst the academic hustle, we took a moment to commemorate the shahada of the lady of women-kind, Syeda Fatima Al-Zahraa(as). Commemorating the martyrdom of our Prophet’s cherished daughter(as) inspires a profound sense of reflection, spiritual connection, and renewed commitment to the teachings and principles exemplified by her life.
Towards the latter part of the month, our focus shifted towards addressing significant social issues. Students actively engaged in presentations that shed light on the pressing matters of bullying and the impact of social media on their life. These presentations serve as valuable tools for education, empathy, action ,and safety, contributing to the creation of a school environment that values respect, kindness, and inclusivity. By fostering awareness and providing practical guidance, such presentations contribute to a safer and more positive school environment.
As the month progressed, excitement reached its peak in the final week of school. Class parties brought students together for moments of laughter and friendship, fostering stronger bonds among classmates. The week culminated in a delightful pyjama day on Friday, creating a relaxed atmosphere that added a touch of fun to the school
In retrospect, the month was a perfect blend of academic focus, cultural appreciation, and social engagement. Our students demonstrated resilience during exams, embraced their Islamic heritage , and actively participated in addressing important social issues. The joyful spirit that enveloped the school during the class parties and pyjama day served as a fitting conclusion to a month filled with both learning and joy.
As we embark on the winter break, we hope to carry the positive momentum forward, cherishing the memories created and looking forward to more exciting experiences in the upcoming year.
