Academics
Al Haadi Academy’s general curriculum follows the guidelines and expectations of Ontario’s Ministry of Education, and emphasizes critical thinking & problem solving; communication & collaboration; and creativity & innovation. We teach all subject areas, including language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, French, physical education, and the arts. Our students excel in all areas when they graduate from the Academy.
We work hard to provide our students with varied opportunities that allow them to consolidate their learning. Teachers develop additional learning activities at all levels to provide challenges for students, which include year-round field trips and in-school presentations that complement our rich curriculum.
Our class capacity is purposefully small, so that we can deeply know each student, help them thrive emotionally and socially, and support their individual path to excellence.
Teachers are some of the most important people in your children’s lives. They give children purpose, set them up for success as citizens of our world, and inspire in them a drive to do well and succeed in life. Therefore, we take great care in selecting teachers who not only have knowledge and experience in the field of education but also embody Islamic characteristics.

Our instructors all hold degree from some of the finest universities and institutions in Canada and other countries. However, this is not the only qualification that makes our teachers what they are. Salaam Alaikum, I am a proud parent of four Al Haadi Academy students and I really appreciate the efforts of the principal and all the staff and management for providing quality education both religiously and academically that certainly is helping them grow and succeed. Al Haadi’s qualities are numerous, but one thing stands out is their commitment to personal, one on one teaching of a nurturing style. The staff, students and curriculum are a second home to my children who have benefited greatly intellectually as well as socially and religiously.
